Campus Globalization: The Globalizedu Approach

Our team has worked on strategic plans for campus globalization for more than two decades. There aren't great shortcuts when it comes to building new ideas on global success into a campus' leadership plan and culture. Our approach is tried and true and utilizes a four pathway audit of an institution's past, present and future functions and aspirations in this space. Our process takes 6 months from first discussions to the presentation of our report.

  1. Academic Affairs: what are the signature academic programs, departments, centers and research/teaching successes of the institution and how are these allied with campus global policy and practice? How can these assets and alliances be burnished or overhauled to more effectively drive global vision and engagement?

  2. Admissions, Enrollment Management: what are the enrollment challenges or opportunities of the institution and how are these supported by globalization initiatives? What budgetary and staffing considerations are at stake as concerns the vital interface between admissions and global engagement?

  3. Mental Wellness, Student Experience and Campus Inclusivity: What aspects of student support services are in line with campus efforts to build communal experiences, mental wellness and pathways to greater inclusivity related to globalization efforts? How can these synergies be revitalized or rebuilt?

  4. Stakeholder Perceptions: How is the institution's effectiveness as a global entity perceived by faculty, students, administrative leaders, alumni, prospective domestic and international students, community leaders and overall in the media? How can these perceptions be explored, assessed and systematically improved?
